If I were the editor or director of Defiance I would pick option A. I would pick this option because I feel that it was necessary for them to kill him because he would have gone back to his troops and told them where they were hiding. I also think that by not beating him to death would be showing that they are not like the Germans and that they could have the restraint to be a better people. I think it would show the Jews in a better light. I personally think that revenge doesn't solve anything it just cause some pain and conflict. I also believe that just because you cause the other group harm the things/people that you lost are still gone. Even though it feels good it won't bring them back, what has been done is done and it's up to you weather you decide to be the bigger person.
